(Whoop, whoop, whoop!)

I laughed hysterically for most of the show ... Keisuke (pronounced CASE-KAY) Hoashi began his career in New York and ... is quite adept at cow-tipping --- Sacred Cows that is ...

From the moment I received my program, I knew I was in for something VERY different ... come along anyway because it's SUCH A FUN RIDE.

Hoashi mines the entire comedy field: parody, satire, farce, slapstick and a little bit of romance. This is, after all, "The world's first martial arts musical comedy."

V. Ray Boddie is fabulous as Brucie, one of the braver Valley Ninjas. (The Valley Ninjas are the "Bad News Bears" of ninjas without the championship.)

Ron Edward Baker gives a fun turn as the rapping ninja master ...

Mimi Chen has a wonderfully biting number as the West East Ninja M.C. with "Asian American Minority." Anyone who has ever been "typed out" or asked, "what are you?" can definitely relate. The song may not be p.c., but that doesn't make some of the comments any less true.

Thanks to a game cast and a brave director (would you want to direct the Producer-Writer-Lyricist?), this show is a funny gem-in-the-rough.
